I've part of a printout of a scheme to use FMA for FT Fighters done by Tony
Francis, but apparently some of the sheets of paper have gone astray. If it's
still available, could someone point me to where it's on the web? Noble Google
has failed me.
Thanks!

The Amazing Mr.Francis has already sent me a copy of the article in question!
With the article attached, he obviously couldn't send his reply to the list,
but it was necessary to attach the article as he tells me it's no longer on
the web.
Should anyone else desire a copy, sans attractive but unnecessary
illustrations of Star Wars fighters, please contact me DIRECT, and I'll
forward a copy.
Speaking of Star Wars, I should point out the original stats given are for
that genre, but I think quite adaptable. These rules take some extra work,
obviously, but there are occasions where you wish to focus on how the various
fighters interact, and this seems like a colorful way to do so.
Thanks, Tony!

I ran a game at the ECC last year using FT/FMA to run a Star Wars
fighter game. I would love to see a copy of these rules and compare. Our game
seemed to run rather well, although a bit more complicated as
you noted w/ Mr. Francis' version.

I'll do a group mailing a little later; I may be all wet about this being
easier on my employer's server via carboning all those that asked off list as
I requested, but I know at least my 'sent' basket will be easier to manage.
I'll include you, Steve, but expect others requesting you post/send YOUR
rules. Put me on the list. ;->=

http://lists.csua.berkeley.edu/mailman/listinfo/gzg-lThanks Beastie,
Anyone interested in Martin & my (is that grammatically correct?) rules
for FT/FMA fighters just shoot me an email at krimso@msn.com.
I'm pretty sure that Marty posted them somewhere but forget the link. I'll
look around for it.

Steve

the link. http://www.geocities.com/mxconnell/gzg.html
This is Martin's ECC photo site. If you click on the "Attack on the Death
Star" link you can see some photo's from our ECC game as well as access the
rules, SSD's & site from which he purchased the nifty Star Wars fighter figs
we used.

Thanks, Steve!
VERY different, I think, as Tony's rules are for using FT squadrons, but
FMA for greater granularity in fighter types.
Brian, who asked about Tony's rules being used in DSII for air combat,
I'll be the first to admit I'm a vacc-head, and can't be sure, but think
Martin/Steve's rules might work better? Well, everybody can judge for
themselves after I give others a few hours to request a copy of Tony's.
Let me take this opportunity to point out, THESE ARE TONY'S WORK, and I'm not
trying to steal thunder, merely trying to releave some of the burden I knew
would arise when I brought the subject up. Gratefully done in honor
of the speed with which he answered my request. All props to a guy that has a
day job, runs another business, and still has time to be so damn
friendly and helpful. ;->=
As with the Jon's generous releasing of rules for download prompting visiting
GZG, by all means look up the excellent Brigade Models.
Amazing! I didn't say Brigade Games!
