Actually, I'm curious - how many people would be interested in a
GZGPedia based as a Wiki, not as a collection of HTML pages? Obviously, the
concept of an 'updated' starmap (assuming Nyrath has even looked at FT at all
in the past five years or so) would go out the window, and we'd have to figure
something out about ratings and getting people to behave nicely to each
other... but would this be a worthwhile amount of time?

Essentially - how many people out there are still interested in the
concept of the Pedia at all?  I know traffic on the GZG-L has dropped
a lot, and it looks like any 'official' universe expansions from
Jon T. are now on the permanent back-burner - are there enough
new people coming into the game that warrant looking at stuff like this?

My problem is that RL keeps tossing stuff on to the burner. Pretty soon, it's
all going to work out and I'm either going to have a really nice stir fry, or
everything will catch fire and I will die.

Interest waxes and wanes, of course.

One thing I've noticed is that, while there is some cross-post/talk,
there's also occasions that the list grows quite, and discussions blossom
elsewhere. I see that on the Yahoo! group, and assume other places as well.

gamer enter the wonders of the Tuffeyverse.

I like the idea. As with most of us time is tight, but it may actually
tap into the quiet/new people who get in and play and flesh out their
worlds without necessarily broadcasting it all to the list.

I've always tended to just sort of have my own universe I play with in all my
custom brew stuff. I've sometimes thrown together the occasional story for it,
and it's stayed fairly coherent through most of my play even through a couple
or three different groups. I could probably be convinced to Wikify it if
somebody actually wanted to entertain an alternate universe on the thing. If
not, I'd just put more together for the Livejournal community version I've
already got going.
