I wanted to make a comment to the list about the quote board. It was a
completely spontaneous idea and it will give Mark enough quotes to last a year
until the next one. It will also give those who didn't go a flavor of the fun.
My kids especially liked it when I acted out for them what happened when my LT
just spotted the Alien Queen and went into panic.
My Master Sergeant (Run by JP) tried to communicate with me and it went
something like this.....
JP: I'll communicate with the LT.

Is _that_ what all the jumping and screaming was??

Not to mention all the puttering and whooshing noises... not just there,
but also at the SGII/WH40K game on Sunday. ^_^

Puttering and whooshing noises? I had a (non-gaming) roommate ask me
once if we made little noises as we "played with our toy tanks". I vehemently
denied the charge, and said that no wargamer I'd ever heard of did such a
thing. I've just been proven a liar...:)

Oh dear is right...:)
Puttering and whooshing noises, indeed. 'Course, I'm probably just jealous
that I missed the con. Sounds like it was great...

Well, if it's any consolation, the noises were coming as Jon moved the VTOL
and the APCs, both Galoob toys rather than painted figs. But yeah, I've been
asked that question before as well... not sure what I'll answer
now. ^_^;

Yup! ^_^
I don't know if anyone else is guilty, but I was making whooshing sounds as I
unloaded 20 tubes of artilery in a DS2 game on Sunday.
My last game of the con. I had to make it fun!
