> From an effectiveness POV, there are several arguments against this Firstly, number of chits drawn. 2 x size 7 = 14 chits; 3 x size 5 = 15 chits; 5 x size 3 = 15 chits; 8 x size 2 = 16 chits; 12 x size 1 = 12 chits. The triple turret is the best balance between total chits and reliable damage. Secondly, the chances of a kill *without* drawing a *boom* chit. The smaller the weapon, the less chance the weapon will do anything useful at all. And as Oerjan has said, you have a much greater chance of drawing a "firer systems down" and losing your entire weapons load for no returns. If, on the other hand, you loaded it down with 7 x heavy missiles = 28 chits. Or a Superior ZAD + PDS + as many heavy missiles as will still fit.
