I strongly disagree! Easy terrain is where the vehicle is in travel
mode - It can't perform any combat actions! If you want the vehicle to
perform combat actions, the vehicle must treat all Easy terrain as Normal
terrain.

The US Marine and the Soviet GEV are armoured to resist Antipersonel weapons
and some parts are armoured to resist 50 calibre rounds. Hammer's Slammers are
GEV, weigh over 100 tons and are plated in iridium.

It's easier to give the TD signature die a step increase instead of all these.

I prefer twin GMS/H in a turret in a size 2 wheeled high mobility
vehicle. Cheaper and more effective. My friend has found that HELs and DFFGs,
in various combinations, go very well together with GRAV mobility and ablative
armour. Of course, the ultimate is the Hammer's Slammers Power guns with DFFG
damage, and HEL ranges.

This is good design usually. Last night I was sorely dissappointed by my Tank
Destroyer platoon, but that has to do with some incredibly bad dice rolling
and having no less than three of them (out of five tank destroyers) pull a
firer systems down chit. Argh! Otherwise I use the
size 2 w/ 2 GMS/H (Sup) in grav, tracked, and wheeled varients.

I find that DFFGs are too short-ranged to use as my main weapon. One
platoon out of each tank company carried DFFGs. HELs have no punch whatsoever.
There is no God but the MDC and I am It's Prophet.

XXX Sounds like some service techs will be in deep doodoo. Just poke out one
eye, or what? I can't see (sorry) that they'd need a lot of depth
perception...XXX

XXX Allah Ackbar! Until we get Traveller Fusion guns (DFFG damage, MDC range),
I'll stick with the MDC. Side note: In Traveller TNE, when you ripped the Big
Fking Fusion Gun out of an Imperial TL 14 Grav Tank
(Trepida/Intrepid) and replaced it with the best MDC you could cram in
with a decent ammo supply, it actually had a longer range and better
penetration. And it didn't light up the countryside like daylight for klicks,
either...XXX
