Brushfire Day 1 - The Calm Before the Storm

Col Atkinson struggled to understand the local dialect of the civilian he was
questioning, but the gist of things were clear. "We 'no 'nout ab'ut tanks.
You'se been da first we seen dis month. We ha' seen some o' dose mil'try types
poking 'round the warehouses but dey scarp'd after some message yester." "So,
they've found something on the side or Hudak's orders are more complicated
than a simple take and hold mission," though Atkinson. Wheels within wheels.
Reports had continued about initial deployments and there had been little
contact with Hudak's Hooligans; just a few pot shots between recon elements of
both sides with no casualties. The engineering report on several units damaged
in the landing was positive and all units should be back to full strength
soon.

Major Hudak's briefing to his line officers was short and to the point.
"Atkinson's Arrows are looking to take me prisoner, so we'll use that against
them. Sgt Miklos, I want you to set up a hit and fade operations between
*here* and *here* (points to map). Use Lt Tunde as your fallback point in case
of a strong thrust. Infantry platoons, I want you dispersed and dug in. We
don't have the firepower for an extended engagement against tanks, so get
behind them and use your IAVRs where they are weak." The briefing broke up
after that with discussions of tactics and where they could steal the best
beer from in town.

Game Notes: There is no contact from either side at this time, so presume your
existing orders were carried out (Major Hudak, I still need your asset
deployment within what was discussed to continue further).
