Is it just me, or does it strike anyone else as a bit funny that we see stuff
like:
"Re: [ds] BB's HBT (was: RE: SG2 vs DS2 vs FT)"
in our subjects...
Can you imagine what a non-initiate must think...
(NSA will be thinking we're transmitting some kind of simple substitution
code...)

Heh. I myself hadn't batted an eye at this. THen again, where I work, this is
nothing. (I work for CSC for AURA for NASA on HST in OPUS (which
is itself an imbedded acronym), a sub-department of ACDSD, dealing with
data from WF2, HSP, HRS, FOS, FOC, NICMOS, STIS and the FGS', using various
OPs to interface with DDF and DDF, as well as the MOC, FOT, and PASSOPS (which
has recently changed to CCS)).

Oh, bloody hell! You DID have to mention the NSA! With Echelon, they'll see it
and...
OH BLOODY HELL! I said Echelon!!! *horrors*
Maybe I can hide it in a reference to Star Fleet Battle's ISC fleet
tactics... ;->=

Don't worry, Adrian, they're just TLA's (Three Letter Acronyms)...

Re the TLA's. IMHO some ML VIP should RSVP with a FAQ of all the GZG TLAs, so
a newbie isn't SOL. TTFN.

To get you warmed up, here's a Four Letter Abbreviations list:
TTFN= Tanks That Fire Nukes YMMV = Your Missiles Max Vector IIRC= Incoming!
Incoming! Race for Cover! IMHO= Interception Move High Orbit RSVP= Requires
Special Victory Points
I have nothing to fear. I'm such a Klutz, if the NSA puts me under
surveillance for any significant amount of time, they'll determine I'm more of
a threat to MYSELF than to national security.

Ah, but we should make sure that our computers have LRF support, first.
LRF support? Why, it's common to many modern computers...just look on the
bottom. (LRF = Little Rubber Feet.)
