Has anyone purchased any of the Pig Iron miniatures, specifically the infantry
(not fond of the vehicles)? How do they compare in size to GZG? Are they 25mm
or 28mm?

Huge and chunky. Nice detailing, though when I bought mine (last Salute)
they had a very small range.
Thanks, 'nuff said.

vehicals. They are clean and good for detail painting and decals. The ones I
got are 15MM.

http://lists.csua.berkeley.edu/mailman/listinfo/gzg-lAbout 75% of size,
15/25 ratio. My opinion for what its worth, Too much detail in vehicals
or troop equipment makes it hard to paint for the yardstick measure. THe
yardstick rule is at three feet does it look good? If so STOP work and coat
it. They don't seem to work in 15MM anymore.

Doesn't sound like the Pig Iron I've heard of, which has only been going a
year or two. Maybe there was an earlier company of the same name?

It's not the current Pig Iron guys, I asked them and they where kind enough to
reply. They have no current plans to do any work in 15mm. Bummer, but at least
they are still doing their 28mm stuff.....

My comments all refer to the 28mm Company. I bought them as figures for a 3D
version of Steve Jackson's FRAG. They are nice for this, but I wouldn't
personally use them for SG
