t.ca just got this lovely message from a fellow named Terry Millard. I relay
it here because of its particular interest to this list. I have recommended he
join this list and that he post this to TMP since I know they track this sort
of development.
I can not speak to the veracity of this post, but it seems an odd sort of
mailing for a prank.

Hi,
We are a small family run games company who have just bought the rights to
produce GZG resin ranges in 6mm and 25mm scale, we are only doing the Resin
buildings and vehicles in both scales, Jon will be continuing with the metal
figures and vehicles.
I visited Jon at his home a couple of weeks ago to collect all the moulds
and masters to begin re-casting and production. We intend to do a simple
tidy up of the complete range with minimul changes and updates.
With this in mind at this stage we would like any feedback from your members
on relevent changes and any design problems (weak spots on vehicles that
require changing).
If you like we can keep you upto date with how we are getting on and give you
a growing list of items as and when they are put back in to production.
The first to be released will be the 6mm Fire base and Microtac buildings
followed by the Leviathon SF25-201 and Blower hover tank SF25-101.
Any questions please contact us at Daemonscape.com

Cool! Did he mention what will be done with the metal pieces on the models?

It's entirely genuine - I hadn't mentioned it myself because I didn't
know exactly when Terry would be ready to have it made public - I
guess his post has answered that! ;-)
Just to clarify, now that the info is out - Terry (Daemonscape) has
purchased the rights from me to re-issue the SF25 (25mm) and MT (6mm)
resin ranges, which as most of you know I withdrew from production a couple of
years ago now. Realistically there was no way I was ever going to return to
resin production (especially after my workshop move this year, the new
facility is ideal for all the metal work but simply doesn't have the space
needed for resin production), and this change means that the ranges will be
back in production.
For the avoidance of rumours and misinterpretation, this in NO way
affects anything that we currently produce - it ONLY involves the
already-deleted resin ranges being put back into production.
So, all of you who said you wanted some of the resins as soon as I
deleted them - I hope you'll support Terry in this project and buy
lots!
:-)
Best,
Jon (GZG)

Daemonscape will have their own small metal production facilities to
make the metal bits that go with the resin kits - as far as I am
aware, the models will be very much as we used to sell them, metal parts and
all. We (GZG) will still be doing all the SG 25mm infantry ranges as before.

Unfortunately, some of us went elsewhere in the meantime and bought lots
there. There's some vehicles I could buy more of, though their website seems
to be either badly designed or
broken - hardly any of the links work, so I can't see what
they're offering.
Will they be doing any new designs? My next target of acquisition is probably
tracked vehicles, of which the choice was limited.
