etings: Â The subject pretty much says it all...those wonderful 15mm vehicles
that keep popping up make my fingers itch to paint again (even if I don't game
with them). Are they resin? Or are they only "resing looking" in the pictures
because those are the masters that metal versions get made from? Or?

assume you are referring to GZG's - they are all metal castings.

They are all metal, and the photos on the store are of actual metal castings
sprayed with a colour basecoat (usually grey, sand or GW's Ogre Flesh, which I
got several large cans of when it was out as a
limited-edition trial and which makes a great olive-drab base colour
that seems to photograph quite well). We basecoat spray up the assembled
models for the catalogue photos because I think it shows the shapes and
details much better than an unpainted casting, but is clearer than a fully
painted mini.

nks! I thought it was probably a basecoat, but it looked very much like the
color of some aftermarket resin parts I would buy for 1:35 scale tanks (when I
did that sort of thing).
