Um, you didn't notice a little kerfuffle on rec.games.miniatures.* a few weeks

Um, not sure about that. If he was pasing to someone else then it would have
been a forward pass and hence illegal. If he was just throwing it down there
aimlessly them I'm not sure what would happen. It probably isn't against the
rules. However it is a fairly stupid thing to do. (Why didn't he kick it?
Legal and it goes further! Americans can't even master a simple game like
Rugby, no wonder they
never got the hang of cricket! ;-))

All of this has very little to do with anything that is remotely on topic. So
