as far as i am concerned, when any bozo that blazes away with a firearm inside
the city limits, OR ANYWHERE IN A RECKLESS MANNER, is looking for jail time.

merely having a loaded rifle or shotgun on your person or in your vehicle is
not an offense in most states, but acting in a threatening manner or a
reckless manner with it is a good way to meet the local law. and rightly so.

there is also a huge difference in most states between carrying and
transporting a handgun, loaded or unloaded.

and then there are carrying permits, too.
