Does anyone have any of these ships? I just got 19 blisters of them (a pretty
good sized fleet, lotsa cruisers) and they're pretty nifty. But they
assemble... oddly. Most of the cruisers are two parts, a main body
+ engines, and a bridge section; it's kinda the reverse of the Star Trek
ships -- the bridge is on a nacelle, kinda. (Alright, I'm not doing
such a hot job describing these things, but....)
Two comments: 1) How the heck does the Command Center fit together?
I've got a hefty main body, plus a squat "T"-shaped pice with some
bulbous ends, and two things that look like add-on engines. I've got a
feeling that I'm missing a piece or two, but the guy I got thede from says he
hasn't lost any of the pieces, so... help? Anyone?
2) The carrier is *neat*. It's basically a stem with docking offshoots along
the lenth of the body, 10 in total. It also came with 6 fighters,
and I got 4 more of the same fighter type (TIE-fighter like) so I can
outfit the thing. How much for a carrier with 10 bays, again...? @_@
(Actually, I'll probably mount the fighter 2 to a base, and call it 5 bays...
whatever.)
Any help on the first point is appreciated.

It's more like an ancient linbe, I think. The blisters were marked at $3.50
retail, but each contained two calargeships (cruisers, tankers, a few others),
or eight fighters (various types), or one huge ship
(battleship, command center). The blisters were sub-titled
"Stellardate: 2998". The premise is a war between the Earth federation
and the Alien planets... deep, huh? ^_- (I'm kinda curious if I have
any Alien ships; I don't *think* I do, but I really don't know....)
I've still got a semi-intact blister cover; I'll try scanning it in when
I visit CMU again in a couple weeks, and post the pic on my web site if no one
comes up with anything between now & then.

Thanks.

Um... no. For one thing, I got them from a guy who sells stuff that he paints
at the local hobby shop, he's had these things for *years*. We just sorta fell
to talking, I mentioned I played Full Thrust and was kinda looking for
starships, he said he had some he probably wasn't going to be doing anything
with any time soon. (They were all extras; he's already painted up a slew of
blisters, apparently. Dunno if those ships are still around, but they'd really
cost.) Anyway, I paid $90 for the 19 blisters, slightly over their retail
price but way below what they'd likely cost today.
For another, if there were any more, I'd've bought 'em. ^_^;;
