How about - a Stargrunt game using an entire Gym floor?

And speaking od large scale warped behavior:

We used a large Library meeting room for a 1970's game based on a
Chainmail adaptation of LOTR/yada-yada-yada/D&D (before "Basic" BS) and
the second campaign saw the entire "Island" (Roughly half of Australia in
area) except the "soon to be voluntary emigrant" Elf population in an
Armageddon where the club members several thousand figures were
insufficient (not enough figures to do Orcs/Goblins involved - we used
gridded cardboard at 8x3 with a single figure to show type for the hordes of
nasties.) Game started at 1900 hours, using speeded up version of Chainmail
rules, and ended when library opened at 0800 hours next day.
Great fun even if several wives/girl friends didn't believe the game
took that long...

Back on topic: Obviously Ortillery was not thought to be appropriate to SG2
games! Or John intended it to be on floors not tables if used!
