Anyone know of a decent glue that works on the kind of soft plastic that

things like MicroMachines and Heroclix are made from? Both to bond the stuff
to itself and to harder plastics like styrene and perspex.

I'm trying to re-base some minis and haven't had any luck so far with
the regularly-available stuff. Have yet to try superglue, but have my
doubts if it will work based on vague memories.

Any suggestions?

Leading from ignorance, I should wait for smarter to answer, but when has that
stopped me.

Pretty sure those are vinyl. Also pretty sure cyano is death on that. Hmmm...
there is a superglue for vinyl.

Okay, I give up.

The best glue I found for soft plastics is a brand called Goop. It is
sticky but flexible. It did a good job of sticking plastic Airfix -like
figures to metal washers.

Hmm, tricksy. that soft plastic is mostly PVC and you can get glue specific
for pvc (repairing tents and stuff). However, bonding it to styrene is
difficult as these require different glues to actually melt them.

So, you can either use all purpose glue like 'UHU Power'. Something like 'UHU
Allplast' might also work. It melts stuff, and according to the pdf it works
with polystyrene and hard pvc.

Good luck:-)

I use white glue with a drop of superglue, never had any problems.
