To which I can only say, Great! I for one intend to use GZG fighters in games
involving a certain popular SF background rather than the "official"
miniatures because I expect Jon's stuff to be much more in scale with capital
ship
minis --
_anyone's_ capital ships! Not to mention cheaper and much more easily
availabel. Hence my stocking up on GF fighters, especially Star Tigers, P'Taah
and Kantauris fighters (um, isn't that last name a _little_ close to
their inspiration for comfort?). And, of course, Sa'Vasku drone ships.

Now all us TV-SF fans have to do is convince Jon to expand the range
more.
We need tri-laterally symmetric fighters, rehashed A-12s (i.e.,
triangular aerofoils) and teeny little squids to go with the above classes,
and maybe a new kind of Star Tiger with a long nose and a gatling gun <g>.

A few other designs for other TV shows would be nice, too. Something like a
Viper from Battlestar Galactica would be good (I've already commented that NSL
heavy fighters make good Cylon Raiders if you cut their noses off). I daresay
the
SAAB fans -- yes, there are some, though I'm not one -- would like a
Hammerhead -- or did Jon already do that with the UNSC Hammer class?

Over to you, Jon...

Yes what a brilliant idea just what I've been hoping for. In case anyone does
n't know the Society for Science Fiction and Fantasy wargaming have their own
range of SF ships and some of the fighters look exactly like Y wings, B wings
and TIE fighters with X wings, TIE Interceptors and A wings to follow. They
also make Nebulon frigates, Corvettes and Millenium Falcons in approximatly
the right scale for use with Micro Machines Star Destroyers and Mon Calamari
Cruisers.

No-one, I'm afraid; they are made specifically as a "members only"
exclusive range, so you need to join to buy them. International memberships
are available; write (with a couple of IRCs) to:
SFSFW, c/o 4 Old Acre Road, Bristol, BS14 0HN, UK.
Membership gets you copies of RAGNAROK, the society magazine (usually 4 per
year), plus discounts on items from a lot of UK manufacturers [including us
:)].

Hope this is of some help.
