Ok, something else for a change.

Perusing the GZG catalog, I noticed that some of the GF range of figures

seem to be inspired by a number of popular SF shows.

Is it just me and the bad photos, or does a Star Tiger look like a...? Are
they all so inspired?

Not that I object. I'd just like to know.

Btw: Has anyone else considered gluing NSL ships 504 and 505 together and
using it sideways? Looks a bit like the "horseshoe" ship from the movie
"Alien".

Actually, many fans of TV shows have found that certain GZG models
serendipitously resemble models from TV shows, which make them excellent

stopgaps until licensed products hit the market.

I've been lucky enough to find modern stealth bombers that fit the basic

shape of B5 Raider fighters and Silent Death's Avengers look enough like

Narn warships to fool the eye at a distance.

Which models? I didn't spot any except those in the GF range. Sure, say,

the FSE ships have that Star Destroyer look about them, but they're not *that*
close.
