Hello all:
I got my pre-registration book for GenCon today. It appears
that Andon
is in desperate need of copy editor. I couldn't believe the massive
number of errors made through out the book. One particular error caught my
attention: Thomas Pope is running a
SGII game using 6mm figs. They've got it listed as an FT event. ;-|

I checked what I sent them, and what I sent them IS correct. They goofed. And
this year the one guy was going to do it so they would NOT goof up.

On the other hand, I still do NOT have my book. Okay, I'm not TOO worried yet,
but last year of the 12 people I know who went from Toronto, 2 of us got our
books. Well, it's really Andon's loss. Of those people, only 3 are going this
year...

This COULD be my last year at GenCon in Milwaukee, too. I don't plan on going
next year. Instead, I plan to go to the GZG-ECC, Historicon, and maybe
one of the other big historical games (I'm really going to know Lancaster, PA
by the time I'm done). I might make it for the final one in 2002, but maybe
not. I have been less than impressed with Andon's running of the con the last
couple of years...

You'd think they'd get their act in gear, but this appears to be the third
year in a row that they've been messing up. We'll see, I suppose...
