Subject: GenCon 97 GZG tables?

After playing my first two games of Stargrunt II at GenCon 96, I was invited
by the judge at our table to help run events at '97. I gave him my snail mail
address, but have heard nothing from him (or anybody else) since then.

Is one of our list members the organizer of the tables, or does someone know
who I need to contact about this?

I ask now, having just received the early bird registration (and judges
registration) for GenCon 97 (due Jan 31 arrived Jan 28, typical TSR
organization).

Thanks

I just sent mine in today. Rick Rutherford is running (and I'm assisting) 3
two-hour novice sessions, where we're giving away painted ship minis to
the winners (wait till you hear where we got them!) At the TSR website
(www.tsrinc.com), they havejpg copies of the registration forms, which say
they must be in by FEB 17th to be in the program book. The forms I picked up
last year did say mail them by Jan 31st.

Oh, and I'm running two Legions of Steel underground games.

I didn't put myself down as a judge, but does anyone need some help with some
GZG games at GenCon. I'm willing to lend a hand.

Also, last year we talked about list members getting together to play a game
(or several games) of FT, DS2 and/or SG2 privately. Who's all going to
GenCon this year?

Allan,

Glad to see you are interested in helping! We could use some help. I worked

Let me recomend Cousin's subs. They make great phily cheese steaks subs.
Sliced steak, provelone cheese, grilled onions and green peppers, tomato sauce
on your choice of wheat or Italin bread. GOOD

Will do. I've always enjoyed refereeing. I'm not sure what games I can agree
to help with until I see the full schedule, though.

Yeah, I'm not sure how many "list" games would could get in and still do other
stuff! I suspect we could get one or two games in with a little effort. We
should set something up early enough that if we have to pull figures or
terrain from a couple of different people we find out BEFORE the con. Of
course someone will have to come up with a scenario...
