i just had a really great idea, how bout all us list members who are going to
gencon meet for lunch on friday or saturday (because i am not going to be
there on thursday). I don't really know hte convention area yet (this is my
first gen con), so somebody else will have to suggest a place to eat, and
we'll all agree on a time and place.
see ya all there

Friday afternoon, say around 1 pm would probably be alright if everyone's
schedules permit.

That might be an idea, but a number of us are getting together for a game of
FT. We haven't been able to set a day and time yet, and the game has been in
preparation for months. I'm not sure everyone has their schedules down yet
(with less than a week to go!).

Better yet, why don't we meet in the East Octogon, around table M08. That's
where the GZG games are being held. That way we don't clog up the
Geo-Hex
booth while we're waiting. Besides, we can give a helping hand to the novices
just trying the game, we can talk up how good GZG rules are, and we can say
"Hi" to the guys running the games but won't be able to join us.

Good idea! This is where many will be to begin with - working GZG
events.
