Subject: Galactica
Several months ago there was a big discussion on the fighter carrying capacity
of a battlestar and IIRC there was a general consensus that there wasn't
really much in the way of hard numbers on how many they carried.
By whatever stroke of irony/luck, I caught the first episode on Sci Fi a
couple of Saturdays ago, and they gave one number which may be helpful. It's
after the big slaughter and the Galactica is the only one left, and they're
recovering the fighters. The second in command asks how many
they've picked up, and the controller answers "Sixty-eight, and
Starbuck's coming in pretty shot up".
This is probably just a completely pointless bit of minutae, but hey maybe
it's useful to someone.

Subject: While not on the topic of Battlestar Galactica
A while back there wasn't a discussion about tiny little fighters that looked
nothing at all like Colonial Vipers.
Well, since Nic had the great idea to start the 100 club, I decided not to put
in a request for some (true 25mm) Warriors and Cylons for use in SG2 and FMA
battles.
So, if you have no interest whatsoever in these, please don't check out the
Eureka Miniatures page
http://www.eurekamin.com.au/
...don't follow the links to the 100 Club, then the Science Fiction section
and by all means don't put in preorders for the following two entries:
Colonial Warriors with Egyptian style helmets Shiny single eyed robots
Don't say I didn't try not to warn you.
