By the way--the rules on my site are Official Beta Test, not just
something I dreamed up (in fact, Zoe Brain was IIRC the originator). The
Playtest List would like to hear any feedback you have.

I predict, though, that you'll find the HMs feel more like launching a couple
of Exocets instead of the "six HUNDRED missiles" that Weber is enamoured of.
For those, I'd be inclined to: a) use salvo missiles b) have SMs move AFTER
ships, so they can pick targets c) give each ship a few ECM "beam dice" which
would reduce all missile lockons that turn, and perhaps a few ships would get
a smaller number of ECCM to reduce the effect of ECM. d) perhaps beef up the
PDS ability to hit the missiles, to offset the fact that SMs can more easily
hit their targets.

There's been a few changes since then, but yes. The situation is substantially
the same as the original, just a few details have changed.

That applies to the heavy missile rules too ;-)
