Just out of morbid curiosity, has anyone come up with some sort of program for
creating and printing out Full Thrust ship record sheets? I've been using
Window's Paint program to do some things in my spare moments, but the results
are somewhat less than inspiring, to say the least. Is there something out
there that would do the job for lazy 'ol me?

Pick up my shipbits bitmap from Mark's FT web page, or the SFSFW page. This
will give you symbols for all the systems you need. All you need do then is
draw a ship outline in something like paintbrush and copy and paste the
symbols in.
There are also a few other clipart collections about that you may want to try.
I don't think anyone has come up with an automatic diagram generator yet.

Too much work really when so much software already does 90% of the work. Does
anyone want to write their own postscript output driver?
I use VISIO which is a pretty common office tool and you can create templates
for all the hull shapes and weapons you desire. This makes for a very powerful
system, if you have VISIO that is :-). The old VISIO version 3.0 is
going for peanuts now as version 4.0 is out. VISIO is good because it is a
vector system which means creating the precise curves and shapes is easy
compared to raster systems such as paint.

Mike Miserendino is working on a windows program that will create the sheet
and everything (I think). I have seen some of his sheets and they are NICE!
