Has anyone created Full Thrust SSDs for the ships in the anime series "Last Exile"? I can't seem to find any on the web. Best Regards, Bob Yeager

I have not seen either. Interesting idea though. I really enjoyed the series. Pretty simple conversion it would seem. Except maybe the guild vessels. They were so much more advanced than everyone else that it would not be much of a fight in a stand up battle. The others would be fun I would think though. I would be interested on working on the conversion with you if you wanted to bash one together.

Two cents The large ships move very slowly, and much of the action is two dimensional. Victorian Sci-fi has similar aerial images. Space 1889's Ironclads and Ether Flyers, Aeronef, and similar rulesets might be a place to start. Course, the vanships are another matter... The_Beas

That would be pretty neat. I'd like to see that also. I never saw the whole
series, but would like to.
Guild vessels could be represented as with 2xMass (or even 3x). For example, a
cruiser (and a putative Guild cruiser miniature) would be the same size as a
normal cruiser, but would be built (and costed) like
a ship twice (or 3x) the mass (e.g. ~160-240 Mass). The additional
hull, weapons, etc. would basically be proxy for higher tech.

That would be awsome. The vanne ships are vector while the guild ships are cenimatic. The guns had ammo?

The guns did indeed have ammo. I think I remember a reference to armor piercing rounds, and I know in one episode the Silvana (sp?) shot a special type of ammo. The vanships and guild "star" fighters had ammo as well. I'm not sure about the guild warships. I found the "Aeronef" pages. Has anyone tried these rules? It seems like they may be more adaptable to the "Last Exile" universe than Full Thrust. Meanwhile I'm still working my way through the series and loving it. I'm on episode 16. Good stuff. > At 08:04 PM 3/27/2005, you wrote: Best Regards, Bob Yeager

It seems Randy at Gauntlet Games wants to give 'em a go, but I have to do the setting up of the game; he's still on the G.A.S.L.I.G.H.T. kick, and is tired of doing all the work. ;->= When do you think you'll be down in Lincoln, NE, again? Yes - they're good fun and not at all complicated. Steve Blease and the folks at Brigade Models are both great to do business with. [quoted original message omitted]
