I've seen a few tables posted. is this the full metal anorak rules? I'd
probably be against having more than one throw for hit determination and one
for damage. The way beam weapons work now with one throw is a big plus for a
lot of folks, it's simple and elegant.
As far as different types of dice go, that was one of the reasons why
DSII died at our club - put simply two quotes from members summed it
up: "too much *fucking around with dice*" and "I can't beleive the people who
wrote full thrust wrote this, it's too bloody fiddly"
Can somebody posts them so the uninformed can have a gander at them?

Yep - thats why I still play DirtSide (the first edition) its much more
like FT in philosophy with D6 for everything and you can remember the rules
after 3 or 4 games and it only needs a single play sheet for weapons types and
damage rolls. DSII too fiddly by half.

Dirtside too fiddily? I must strongly disagree... all I had to do was keep the
book open to the "dice by size of target" chart, and I was flying along with
the experts 5 or 10 minutes into the game the first time I played...
I found it much less book-intensive then, say, Epic Titan Legions...
Totaly agree with this post, I put all important info on an 8.5X11 sheet of
paper. I don't even need the rulebook anymore. The FMA system is not hard to
play or learn, it's just a little different that first time.

Too bloody fiddly?!? Good lord, DS2 is one of the easiest wargames I own! Oh,
well, different strokes, and all that.
