To go along with the Free Cal Tex Missle ships, here's one little scenerio in
which I absolutely anhilated a NAC force...... Check it out.

Free-Cal Tex Scenerio's
------------------------

#1: "Don't Count JFK out of the Picture Yet"

        Free-Cal Tex Forces
        -------------------
4 Kennedy Heavy Missle Cruisers "JFK","Johnson","Rosevelt","Lyndon" 3 Hampton
Class Frigates

        NAC Forces
        ----------
        1 BB
        2 CA
        1 CE
        3 DD
        1 SC

        SetUp

Opposite ends of the table, speed 8 for both parties

Idea: Free-Cal Tex is ticked that the NAC has been trying to
musle in on its prime resource worlds and has been putting political pressure
on it to cave into their demands.

President "Teddy" decided to use a big stick... The first

of the new bred of missle cruisers to anhillate the NAC sector fleet.

Victory Conditions:

Each side calculates a score based on the points of mass

that
each side destroys - the mass value of their ships that
they have lost.

Free-Cal Tex ships that flee do not count as losses.
Only
Destroyed Free-Cal Tex ships. The NAC Can only flee if
they
                lose 1/2 of their force.

Ratio's (Free Cal Tex points/NAC points)

2:1 Decisive Victory for Free Cal Tex
1.5:1 Significant Victory for Free Cal Tex
		1:1 Draw
.75:1 Significant Loss for Free Cal Tex.5:1 Decisive Loss for Free Cal Tex

Historic Outcome:

The Free Cal Tex force scored a decisive victory by utterly Anihilating the
NAC sector fleet. NAC forces were completely unprepared for the massive missle
fire that one Kennedy class CA packs, let alone four. NAC forces were
completely obliterated to the last ship, there were no survivors. Free Cal Tex
forces suffered crippling damage to two Hampton class frigates and minor
damage to the JFK. However no Free Cal Tex ships were destroyed.

President "Teddy" quickly signed procurment forms to order more Kennedy Class
CA's after viewing the spectacular opening salvo in full 3D Paramount Surround
Video (tm). The sight of four Kennedy class cruisers launching 40,000 tons of
guided explosive ordence, followed shortly afterwards by the explosions of the
NAC BB, CE, and both CA's is truely spectacular.

Special Ships:
        ---------------------
Kenedy Class Heavy Missle Cruiser hull 90: weak (18 dp)
        ftl
        thrust - 4
weapons: 5*sml 2*SML magazine (8 & 12 space mag's = 4 loads and 6 loads)
        screen-1
3*armor 2*firecon 2*pdaf
        2*class-2 Beams

tmf: 90 cost: 314

Cost 4 * 314 + 3 * 81 = 1499 pts (or 4 * 353 + 3 * 81 = 1655 pts)

Cost 1468 pts. Reasonably even fleet sizes, but the NAC are rather weak
in escort ships - change the Vandenburgs for extra Furiouses, or the
Ticonderogas for Minerva/A frigates and see what happens :-) (Especially
if you reduce the Kenedy class ships so they're legal designs...)

What weapon arcs do these ships have?

> Special Ships:

Um, no. The weapon load doesn't fit - hull, screen and engines are 50
Mass, weapons and armour are 46. With the equipment you have specified, the
ship should be Mass 101, have 20 hull boxes and cost 353 points each; if you
drop 6 points of weaponry (eg, 2 SML or some magazine space) you get the Mass
and Cost you specify.
