Typically, I provide the order of battle for each side, any modifications to
the ships (eg "Hattin using 4 heavy missiles instead of 4 beam2"),
starting range and speed, maneuvers--all that is easy. I also provide
the shot record, including range and arc from firer to target, and
results--for
instance:

Warspite > Ville de Lyon, 23mu F: 10BD for 9 points Ville de Lyon > Worcester,
21mu FS: 4BD for 6 points, 1 PTorp (miss)
> Gloucester, 25mu FP: 2BD for 1 pt
End of Turn 3: Ville de Lyon repaired 1FCS

Then I provide end game comments: "The FSE were hard to maneuver with, but
once they caught the NAC they really hammered them. NAC seemed underpowered"

Oerjan or someone can then go back and say "well, you never fired your
PTorps--did you forget them?" or "You rolled really badly, doing 41
damage out of an expected 68, so no wonder you felt they were underpowered."

(waves) I have!

I like your IJN over what sounds to be canon for the simple reasont that their
weapon fit seeems logical
and sustainable, and that the hull integrity/armour
implies that the ships as themselves sustainable.

I played a game the other night with 2 CVP and 2 CVL and a shload of fighters.
Did some damage, but my
Kra'vak team-nate finally wound up saving my bacon.

Much to the chagrin of the player who homebrewed a fleet JUST to kill KV: He
was bummed, she was pleased. But I digress.
