FT'ers,
I've updated the Full Thrust Weapon/Defense Archive to version 3.1
Changes/Additions include:
* Alternate Threshold Hits (different ways to damage your weapons or drives)
* Tractor Beams (SUS) (introducing the on-again off-again
discussion to the WDA) * Grav Spindle Drive * Xeno Files (Initial page setup,
Devourers, Strays, Weijen, placemarkers for others) * Fixes, editing and
tidying * Stealth mechanics and Stealth Hull revision * High Resolution FT
revision (new NILL version)
* Vector Turn-Integrated Firing
* Dead Rotate
* Main Drive/Maneuver Splitting
The site is located here:

If you see errors/typos/ bad links, have new contributions of your own,
or have unearthed new nuggets on the web, let me know and I'll try to get them
into the next revision.

Outstanding.
Unfortunately, the links to my page are dead - I'll let you know when
I have a replacement.
(ie http://www.dynamite.com/~aebrain... is kaput)
Possible new additions:
1)
Missile Jamming System: 10% per ships mass (minimum 5 mass) 4 pts per mass
Effect: Roll a D6: On a 1, all missiles of whatever type targetting that
vessel are KO.
Multiple systems are possible - with 3 such systems, on a roll of
1 to 3, all missiles (SMs, MTs etc) targetting that ship are KO.

Looks Good.
I like the new High-Resolution FT rules, but I do have a question - how
do you determine how many rows each hull 'block' has? As an option, you could
also use the standard FB1 core systems: they don't make threshold checks until
at least 1 block has been 'stripped',
then they fail on a 6+ if 1 block stripped, 5+ if 2-3 blocks stripped,
and 4+ if 4+ blocks stripped.
I've been meaning to get my Command & Control, Crew Quality, etc. rules
together into a form for insertion into the WDA, but I've been rather busy on
other projects ATM.
Anyway, I will be away for Christmas and the New Year, so I'll take a closer
look at it in 2003.

One less row than the vanilla FT ship has, unless it's a small ship. If it's a
small ship (say, below 8 Hull), then it has fewer hull *blocks*. Exactly how
we handle small ships is still up for discussion.
