Jumping on the year 2000 band wagon you could have the GZG logo with the 2000
being done vertically below it. Within each 0 place a targeting cross hair. In
the first 0 put a starship. The second a large tank. And in the third, yes
some poor infantry grunt. Covers all three games and depending on how you drew
the targets could be funny or not. Some witty saying about choose your target
or something could be put on the back of the shirt.
Sounds like the perfect con logo, with a particular con name, under the small
logo, changed with each con. You're right; it does simplify the process, but
skyboys and groppos lose a little of the 'special' feeling.

I like this idea. It is simple. If done right, it reduces the registration
lines (where color touches color). Registration lines GREATLY increase the
cost of printed items. Also registration lines are the first place that the
quality of the printing will show (colors overlapping). I see this in the
breast pocket spot, and a slogan on the back.
Slogans. I like "Play the game, not the rules!" (as was mentioned before) or
"I can assure you all of one thing: THE GZG UNIVERSE HAS NO GOOD GUYS!!!!"
(paraphrased)

Maybe a little obtuse for a slogan but...
In the GZG universe good guys are relative and so are the ships.

My first attempt is more like:
2 G....
0 ..Z..
0 ....G
0 conname
where GZG is a copied image of the Ground Zero logo, the zeroes in 2000 are
crosshairs waiting for images of ship, tank, solder to copy into, with a small
game title under each, and conname can be switched out between cons, part of
my previous idea.
Please note, this allows same basic format for different cons, and we can
start announce the year
2000 as Jihad for GZG player/demoists. ;->=
