A very preliminary version of a set of ship designs (and a VERY few minor
additional systems) is available through:

http://www2.dynamite.com.au/aebrain/ft/index.htm

Or just go via the URL below->Wargaming->Full Thrust Star Trek TOS

The page is very incomplete, but there are a few designs there. Some
corrections are probably needed (the Mk numbers of the ships weren't checked
for example), but it's good enough to get feedback. Comments welcome.

Excellent! I'll be trying these out soon. (I just put in an order for a few

I'm surprised that they have the old Lou Zocchi Gamescience miniatures. I
didn't even know they had a clear plastic dreadnaught, I've already got the
cruiser.) >> I realy like the rules, because now I can have a life and play in
the Startrek universe, I'll do up (assuming that my computer does not eat
them) files for the PFs and some other ships from the net, it'll let me get
some more use out of my SFB stuff.

Glad to be of Service.

I've just updated it (again). After some discussion, I decided to drop the
thrust to 4, as the playtesting found that the Fed ships blew up too darn
soon. So the extra 10% went to Hull isntead of Thrust.

Included in the New Improved version are:
* SSDs - GIFs made with ShipBits - and only 5k or so each
* Klingon D6 added * Romulan WarBird added

I'll be doing the rest of the Tech Manual Feds soon, then probably the D7,
then go onto the SFB stuff. I don't have any SFB SSDs to hand, so will be
going from memory.

I want to eventually include some pictures, but am running short of disk space
(Down to my last Meg), so may not.

 Hence the Gatling's a re-useable submunition: The Plasma Torp's
something like the SM Launcher From Hell: And the Hellbore's just a Torpedo
that can, under the right circumstances, do a lot of internals
(just by allowing it to re-roll on a 6 as per a beam...) Those, plus a
logical extension to the MT missile rules (adding magazines and
launchers, so both SMs and MTMs have both racks and launcher/mags
available) is all that was needed. >> Now I have just one question: What about
ships that have 2 Phot launchers (in SFB), the Enterprise has 4, but some
other ships have 1 or 2, do you give them
1/4 and 1/2 Pulse Torps?

If you have SFB SSDs to hand, and want to do some designs, I'd be grateful if
you would let me use them (with attribution, naturally).

np, I just have to rember to include Firecons in the designs, one of my favs
from SFB is the Andor missile cruiser, 3 Torps in FB, will send more stats off
list.

Umm, the Andor missile cruiser is not a SFB ship, it is a Fasa Star Trek
Combat Simulator ship, though it would still be fun to make a FB version of
it.

Yep, all the plastic Zoochi ships, cruiser, destroyer, dreadnought, scout, and
tug, came in four colors, white, clear, blue glow, and green glow.

Enjoy,

Nice piccies but a bit too over compressed JPEG wise (many artefacts) Probably
because you are running outta space? I would use 5 - 10 % compression
if you can afford the space.

Anyone know where I can get some engines for a FASA Klingon battleship I've
got the whole thing bar the engines <gnash>

I'm down to 1/2 a meg. Thanks for the advice though.
