FT-SML`s and firecons

Just a quick question about SML/R`s and firecons. I`ve been reading
through the book, and nowhere does it state you have to have a firecon PER
salvo. Is
this correct? IE-1 firecon could be used to fire 5 salvo`s. PSB-The
firecon doesn`t have to provide accurate targeting info, just a general
direction for the salvo, the on board seekers will home onto the target.

This is because I`ve always played according to the 1 firecon for any number
of salvos.
