[FT] Sa'Vasku Stingers Quesiton

Subject: [FT] Sa'Vasku Stingers Quesiton

Rereading the rules for Sa'Vasku.

The stingers fail to mention if they can be used in an
anti-fighter/anti-missile role. It does state that "The stinger node is
the Sa'Vasku equivilent of a standard FT Beam weapon".

Should we infer by its absence that stingers may not be used in a PDS role?

Yes. Stingers are standard beam weapons while the spicules are PDS. Pod
launchers can also be used in anti fight/missile role. Pod launchers are
also the only Area PDS system the S have.
