Very much so - indeed, as per earlier conversations with Jon, some
inspriration was drawn from here. Sadly, 2300 AD (and its predecessor,
Traveller 2300) have been out of print for longer than I can remember. Well
worth the time to find them, tho'...

Sounds kind of cool. If you can find web-space to post the RPG rules,
and
your FT campaign rules, I'll definetly check them out. The player-bias
exists in every RPG I've played, so that's not unusual. It's easy enough to
work around if you find it really objectionable.

Another post mentioned the 2300ad RPGverse, which I'm not familiar with, but
it sounds worth checking out.

Full Thrust / Dirt Side II RPG. That would be cool!

I've worked out a set of RPG rules that fit very nicely into FT games--
I've got like 20+ skills and what I feel is a pretty good basis for a
beer-and-pretzels RPG utilizing SGII-type die rolls (sorta). They were
originally designed for use in my (eternally unfinished) FT campaign rules,
and thus reflect a bias towards my own game universe, but it's pretty easy to
adapt to any universe (or time, really). They DO decidedly slant combat in
favor of the players, which is what they were supposed to do in the first
place (The Enterprise with Captain Kirk in command should be able to beat the
heck out of a similarly equiped ship with Joe Nobody at the helm, after all).
It's a little too long to send to the list as an attachment, but if anyone's
interested, I'd be glad to post them somewhere...

Take care,

If you wouldn't mind please attach it to a personal e-mail to me. I
have a big rpg background and do alot of designing myself. My current system
of choice is GURPS and to that end I have a spiify webpage. Maybe I could add
a page with your rpg info and maybe make a GURPS version as well.
