Hey Dom, any word on whether we can hope for this in time for Christmas?
(I typically get my Christmas cards out in February so "Christmas" is
flexible) :-)
Excuse the dumb question but what is the difference between PP:E and
PP:F?

Not a dumb question, though I'm certain Dom will be along shortly and clarify.
For one thing: ships, bigger and more of 'em. Beyond that, I'm pretty fuzzy
myself, and I don't just mean hirsute.
However, in the meantime,

Power Projection Escort are scaled down set of rules that deal with combat
between flotilla's of escort sized ships (around 1000 dTons or less). PP: F
focuses mainly on capital ships and features more advanced weaponry
(i.e.
spinal mounts), equipment (black globes, fighters), and conditions (gravity).

Well, if you can neither dazzle them with brain power NOR baffle them with
bulls**t...
The_Beast
PP:E - Power project:Escort (i.e. little ships, little
guns, no spinal mounts)
PP:F - Power projection:Fleet (i.e. Big ships, Big
Guns, Big Spinal Mounts)

Sorry for the delay but I had to unsubscribe my old address and subscribe the
new one...
If all goes well, Power Projection:Fleet will be available in limited numbers
(initially) at Dragonmeet on 13th December 2003. Once we get orders from
Warehouse 23 etc the main print run will be done.
;-)
Assuming Andy doesn't have a nervous breakdown, computer failure etc; I've
sent back all comments on the proof, all the SSDs are complete (24 new
vessels, all capital ships) and there are just a few small issues to iron out
for the weekend.
Cheers,

Power Projection: Fleet differences are pretty much as above but it also
contains a scenario generator (think Battle Rider for style if you know the
GZG game), full campaign rules (built off Trillion Credit Squadron and Fifth
Frontier War), conversion rules from HG, MT and T20 ship designs, 24 new
ships.
As it stands, the core rules (tactical and strategic) are ~60 pages long, and
the SSDs are yet to be added. We have a brand new Jesse DeGraff cover, and are
working very very hard to finalise things for Dragonmeet.
Neil, Mark, feel free to comment on what you have seen on this forum.
Thanks,
