I really don't think that things will be as neat as Schoons map. It might fit for major areas of control but I think within those you are likely to find bubbles (pockets, ballons, sectors etc..) of space controled by another power or even a small nation like, heaven forbid, the Irish:). An area might be nominally ESU space, but there might be 3 or 4 systems that were under NAC control. A nice point to form up a fleet for a deep strike into enemy territory. The map for the expansion campaign has a lot room for overlapping areas of control. Such areas make for high tensions and lots of combat. Thats my 2 cents worth.
