Hi all,
Just finished scanning and uploading the first round of my Phalon starship
pictures. Some of them are pretty good, I think, and I am pretty sure they're
the first PH photos on the web!
Check out <http://warbard.iwarp.com/ftgallery.html> and tell me what you
think.
While you're surfing, see <http://warbard.iwarp.com/ftfigures.html> for
a review I just wrote on Quantum's starfighters...
Thanks
Very nice planets. I've been meaning to get some myself, how thick was the
layer of plaster you put on them?

Very thin. 'Earth' has a couple of mm of plaster, applied as smooth as
possible then sanded totally smooth. 'Mars' has more plaster, applied in lumps
and rough patches, but still at most half a cm thick.
Total working time, one evening, mostly spent waiting for paint & plaster
to dry. Total cost (assuming you've got plaster & paint already) is $8-9
Canadian ($5-6 USD).

G'day Brian,
Very tastefully done! They look really good and those planets are inspiring!
Have fun

I think I'm going to ego-trip now... <grin> Glad I've inspired someone.
Actually, I think the planets are the easiest scenery I've ever made, bar
none, plus they do look cool.
Thank you!
