Hi I have developed several board game systems for cyberboard. Your post implies several misconceptions. 1) Cyberboard is NOT an on line computer program. It is a turn based pbem module. 2) It is not a game. It is a graphical recording system. It has no AI whatsoever all movement is manual and the chance elements are manually applied electronic dice rolls as per any table top game 3) The Rules are not incorporated in the game. You apply them manually during the playing of your turn. Players who use cyberboard never, if they are honest, include the rules sets or tables in the gameboards. Thus as no rules are included and no game mechanisms are included in the design, players MUST own a copy of the rules to play the game. There is in this case no infringement of copyright. My own efforts include a pbem module for BFG http://rt000rhc.eresmas.net/bfg.htm Hope this clarifies matters Bob DeAngelis [quoted original message omitted]
