I've kind of wondered why nobody bothered to lift the "real" star trek Plasma
Torp. One of my fondest SFB memories is watching people panic when I fired one
of those off. The amusing thing is I never really did much damage. After
movement and beam fire there usually wasn't much left.

Seeking weapon, right? Combo MT missle and Nova?

An ablative MT missle/Nova. That's it.

Yes. In SFB, it chased you around at the maximum SFB speed or close to it (31
representing something like Warp 3.1) and did a passel of damage to you when
it hit. You could pound at it with phasers to weaken it.

It WAS fun to use, even though difficult to use well. It could be done with MT
missile rules and a Nova template probably.

When the plasma ship commander maneuvered well, these weapons were killers...
I had a Gorn DD once...seriously trashed a Klingon F5...hehehe. He limped off
the board before I could finish him off...
