Direct and to the point, but not very helpful. Why would a set of official

Aimee, my fellow FT (and others I assume) addict, post the pictures!
I probably won't see them until Monday (been non-functional since Monday
night at work with a (for me) high fever. My wife, the RN, always worries
because you can see my functional capability start to disintegrate at 102 and
be completely gone by 103.
Sadly, she once functioned quite well in a crisis with a recorded 105 plus a
fraction elevated temp. Guess they breed them tough up there in Quebec... The
fact that she was 'born to be a nurse' in her mind since
she entered double digit age and is the best RN in a ICU/CCU setting I
have ever seen (though that for years before we got together other then
as co-workers) in the fifteen years I spent working as aide, LVN
(licensed Vocational Nurse to the non-Californians), modified psych
tech, orderly. She's not big on the OR and definitely wasn't for many years a
good candidate for the ER but in that setting she rocks.
Well, we have wnadered off topic. Sorry.
I hear my 12 year old doing the dishes I said I would do before Mom gets home
so I'll go and give her a hand.
Post the pictures, please.
Gracias,
Glenn/Triphibious

Well, no, don't post the pictures. Post them on a web site, and give us the
URL. No attachments to the list.
Uh, yeah, that's what I meant. I can't do attachments anyway (obviously time
for another nap...) with Juno!

Glenn - get well soon!
Aimee - I'm sure everyone (myself included) would love to see the pics,
but
please don't post the actual pictures to the mailing list - it's against
the list etiquette; put them on a suitable website somewhere and post the URL
to the list.
Thanks,

Always interested, especially given the chance to put faces to the names
:)
I'll try to get the pics up on my or another's web site.
We had a huge 'Battle of the Line' with the Kra'Vak attacking Earth at this
past WarFair. If I remember correctly there were 5 players per side (10
total.) It was an all night gaming blast and we have some great pics showing
some of the highlights. I need to assemble all of the pics from the various
people and perhaps write a 'battle report' to detail the action.
There will be some more FT gaming this weekend at Atlanta's Sci-Fi
Summer and perhaps more pics.

Hmmmmm....note to self, must remember to kill JMS because of the debilitating

Heh....We also had a DSII game situated around a Mech infantry company (truck
mounted) and a militia company searching a large table for an Elite SAS
detachment that had been conducting covert observation of an area. The SAS
diggers were waiting to get extracted by 2 platoons of Power armour and some
VTOLS. A very interesting game that went to the wire on the extraction chances
of the SAS. They were eventually gunned down. Apparently they had issues with
contacting the orbiting Aero Space support for a strike mission.
We also had a DSII scenario where a reinforced company of light infantry, plus
a detachment of Combat walkers and a platoon of infantry walkers were holding
a town for shuttles to escape. Each Shuttle was worth a victory point. The
invading forces were able to 'recycle' casualties into follow in forces that
were committed as the casualties were made. Basically a finite Blue force that
must give ground eventually and an ever coming horde of Red force. Also a very
fun scenario.

We did something similar when we wnt to the local con in Launceston (city
north of Hobart) this year, but the scary thing was that the ESU side didn't
need to recycle their casualties.
For your viewing pleasure:)
