A while back, someone posted their method of mounting fighters on the stand
such that they could remove individual fighters as losses were taken. I seem
to have lost that message. Could someone describe how to do this? Thanks.

I don't do it with fighters, but I do have a method that works pretty well
(and is cheaper to boot!). What I did was to take individual fighters and
mount them on 25mm round or hex bases. I then mounted a small piece of piano
wire to the back of the base. I use small craft beads on the wire to represent
fighters. When fighters are destroyed, simply remove the beads as needed. I
liked the idea of removing individual fighters, but thought they'd be too
fragile on the wires. The beads work very well, although you do have to take
care not to knock the fighter base, or beads may go flying everywhere:)

Greg,
I think that was about the B5-Fleet Action
scale fighters. The figures are on s apecial
mounting ring and have large bases on the individual fighters to mount in the
ring. I am trying to do something with brass tube and then mounting the B5
fighters for FT on single bases.

Bye for now,

I believe that he was refering to using earing posts to mount the fighters and
the earing recepticales on each fighter. I have seen it done, but not done it
myself. It seemed to work well.
