As they're 'suicide' squadrons anyway, I wouldn't give them both +1 AF &
+1 AS in the same airframe.
Try this instead (Fa'Tk'San do not count as heavy):

In a dogfight, Fa'Tk'San Squadrons can EITHER dogfight as normal or 'suicide'
& ram enemy fighters. When 'suiciding', enemy fighters resolve their attack
first, before the ram is resolved. Any surviving Fa'Tk'San fighters then ram
or detonate their onboard explosives. Obviously, regardless of the outcome,
the squadron is completely destroyed.
1-3 = 1 fighter kill, 4-5 = 2 fighter kills, 6 = 3 fighter kills +
reroll (normal rerolls as per FB)
Against Heavy fighters, 1-4 = 1 kill, 5 = 2 kills, 6 = 3 kills.

Against enemy ships, they have the same option; attack as normal fighters or
'suicide'. When 'suiciding', they charge in with guns blazing until they ram
the ship. Ignoring both energy screens & KV armour:
1-3 = 1 point, 4-5 = 2 points, 6 = 3 points + reroll (rerolls as per FB)

This method guarantees at least 1 point of damage per fighter... once.
Costwise, it would work out at 24 points/squadron, as it's only a one
off benefit.

It just seems that it is NO easier to Ram an enemy fighter than it is to shoot
it down. (Any time reading about fighter combat or any simulator time will
show that up in a heart beat.) So it seems to me a dubious rule. However the
Suicide rule vs big ships sounds legit.

Suicide vs fighters is partly ramming, partly explosive debris from all those
unstable munitions. You don't necessarily have to be touching your target to
take them down in a nuclear fireball. That's why the defending squadron
resolves it's shooting first, before
they try to ram/explode. This balances it out, as the attackers are
more interested in getting *really* close to make sure of the kill, than their
own survival (they're going to die anyway...).
