I think were loosing sight of the ball here. FT is fundamentally a table top
game.

There have been several fixes supplied:

o changing the movement scale, so more is less

o applying a limit on the table edge, the traditional table top game approach

o using a big playing area like the floor
or the sun-deck

o doing the SFB shuffle, either sliding all the ships when they reach the edge
or using a modular board.
