G'day Alan,

I'd have to check with Derek, but its a Stargrunt Demo Day or
something in May in Melbourne (I think - don't look at me like that
Derek takes care of all those kind of organisational duties).
Then again it may have all changed by now - hey can one of
you Melbourne boys help me out here by any chance?

Apart from the fact the counter looks like its possessed (numbers spinning
everywhere) it looks just fine in IE 4 and Netscape Communicator 4.5.

Cheers

Where's that? When?

On another matter, I've just FTP'd the first attempt at a Home Page to our
ISP. Most of the links Don't. Only the Y2k and DHMO ones are active so far,
the rest should give 404s or similar. But maybe by the end of today most will
work. Including some FT stuff (to make this post On
Topic..)

I'd appreciate a test, especially from anyone using IE in any version, or
Netscape 4. This was composed using Netscape Gold 3 plus a bit of tweaking
using Notepad, so I'd like some feedback.

I think it's the Western Suburbs Wargaming Society open day on 29th May, at
Altona Meadows. It's the only major event in May that I'm aware of here.

Mac with Netscap Communicator 4.5 and the dreaded DHM link works. Not the
links to almost everything else.

This DHM must be stopped or it will soon spread around the globe!

Looks the same from IE3 on NT 4.0 and Netscape 4.06 on Mac.

Aside from the dead links (everything but Y2k,DHMO, and Teddy Bears) the
Graphics for S.C. conquers the Martians and Teddy Bears are both broken. The
image tag for S.C.C.T.M shows as
       <IMG SRC="file:///C|/HTML/HOMEPAGE/WELCOME3.GIF" [snipped rest]
The image tag for Teddy Bears is <IMG SRC="R0300408.JPG" [snipped rest]

Looks like a good start though. Better than my own.

Its the one that Brendan mentioned yesterday (the Western Suburbs Wargaming
Society open day on 29th May, at Altona Meadows). Though to be honest we were
going to double check it with Nic or someone before we got there.
