Hello, I would apreciate it if someone were to send me a program that I can
use to generate graphic ships for FT. I would like to have that is flexible
that you essentially place the different items in and not neccessarily have to
follow the original FT ship construction rules. I tried to get it from web
sites but they were all down... It would be best if the program were a self
extracting file or something that can be used by a standard graphics program.
Thank you,
Phil
> Hello,
You should be able to use any drawing application. A "vector" drawing
app would be preferable--it provides much more flexibility and nicer
printouts. However, even a "paint" or bitmap-editing program will work
fine.
I have created a set of templates and symbols in Adobe Illustrator. I could
send you the files, but you need an app that can read Illustrator files.
(Created on Mac, but I think Illustrator is
cross-platform to Windoze now.)

I have been using the 'SHIPBITS.BMP' file for paintbrush, and creating
outlines for the 'FT' ships that I have. If you think this would satisfy your
needs contact me at the next minicom. (15th Nov. or 06 Dec.) Bye for now,

A note to those of you who have requested a copy of these files: I have
received permission from Jon at GZG to post them on my web site. Give me a few
days, and I'll post another note to the mailing list as soon as I have them
up.

Okay, folks. I've posted my version of the Full Thrust forms and graphics on
my web site, in both.zip and.hqx archives.

You can download the AI 6 files. They lose nothing in the translation.

More changes of formats: o Illustrator 7 for Mac and Windows. o Illustrator 6
for Mac.
o Illustrator 1.0 for least-common-denominator
(Note: was previously Illustrator 1.0 EPS... Oops!). o EPS for Mac and
Windows.
o Removed Windows metafile--I'm told the files are worthless.
