Well, I ran "Time Line" on Friday night

A return game from GZG ECC like 3 years ago.

A combined task force of NAC/FSE forces went back in time to prevent a
war
with the IJN/ESU
in which the original Time Line was the IJN/NAC vs ESU/FSE at which NAC
and FSE had horrible losses of ships and territory and both wanted to prevent
the war from starting. Building a Time Gate in a secure location and sending
to capital ships through to try adn prevent the first attack of the IJN on FSE
forces from happening.

Now, the ships are there and with the information knowing what IJN ships

will be there, they set up a counter strike.

FSE Ships Advance Battleships and destroyer escort. NAC Ships Advance
Superdreadnought with destroyer escort CVL and escort craft

vs

IJN Ships

DN and escort craft CVL and escort craft

Using Fog of War to start the game, players did not know the what ships

were where and had to begin plotting by only seeing mass of ships and not
class.

Of course fighters pretty much became null and void. Leaving ships to deal
with each other. The Advance Superdreadnought had Advance Salvo missiles (IE:
All salvoes

launched hitting with 6 missiles) In short without giving round by round
details. The NAC ended up turning on their FSE future allies and with special
order to intercept and preserve the time line from being altered, turned on
their FSE comrades. This gave the IJN a slightly better chance but they still
lost their Hiryu CVL and all its escort and nearly all the DNs escorts. The
few remaining FSE with drew as well.

Though the IJN forces were not utterly destroyed, and the IJN did not achieve
their goals of destroyers the FSE Carrier and other capital ships. Only the
NAC achieved its goal to prevent the time line from being altered and the war
continuing on. However, the victory was only a slight victory as the war will
go on after all, just not the same as the original time line remembers.

If you want better details, let me know and I will gladly give them to ya
all...
