in Cinematic movement, half of a ship's turn points are spent, then half
velocity is spent forward, then half turn points are spent, then remaining
half of velocity forward. How does FT Map handle the case of halfing an odd
number? Is the turn spent exactly in half with fractional facing? Is the
forward velocity split exactly in half with half units? I realize that in a
FtF game, house rules can be used, but how does FT Map handle these cases?

Thanks.

Hi Greg,

Velocity is exactly halved, but heading is rounded (down for the initial turn,
and up for the mid point turn). This is right for normal cinematic FT, but as
you say its not right for some house rules. By the way, what's an "FtF" game?

Alun.
