'only' 45 to go? At one a day you would make it...barely...;)

Hmmm. I thought I had contributed to that once before. *shrug* Oh well, no
time to check; here go!
> ESU
Indy: Dunno; used to be metallic maroon, but I wasn't happy with it so
stripped it off. Trying to think of another scheme, but haven't come up with
one that I'm happy with.
> FSE
Indy: Currently medium/light grey with random squiggle
'camo dark grey lines. Not really happy with this scheme, either, actually,
but haven't gone so far as to strip and repaint (mostly not happy with the
'camo' scheme). B'sides, my FSE fleet isn't all that large, so...
> NAC:
Indy: Dark (gunmetal/battleship) grey. Some features
colored (usually for identification purposes; such as alternating light grey
and some other color on the raised radiating rows or whatever they are on the
'heads' of the BBs and BCs)
> NSL
Indy: Same as with NAC, but w/out the individualized
colored highlights.
> UNSC
Indy: Ral Partha 'Paladin Blue' currently, but I like the
light/medium grey for some ships, too.
> Kra'Vak
Indy: Metallic Green, straight up.
> Sa'Vasku
A-ha! I *thought* I had contributed to it! :)
> Jonathan White: Purple, Yellow/Green Trim
Fighters, any nation (except Kra'Vak and S'Vasku): multi color schemes.
Fighter squadrons generally individualized in some way, shape, or form.
Only S'Vasku and Kra'Vak fighters non-individualized, and they keep the
same color scheme as the main ships of their race.
Mk
We're missing a few new fleets in this list, the Islamic Federation, the OU,
the New Israelis, and the Phalons.
IF - white with green details/wings
OU - orange and anything goes
NI - blue or green. Noam has quite a few images off his pages.
Phalon - I really don't want to know.

For ESU, I'm doing a dark rust with a black-boardered tan stripe offset
right with tan and yellow detailing.
FWIW, here's my current set of colour schemes. Most of my ships have had a
quick paint scheme (ie dark undercoat, light drybrushing) to make them usable
with the intention of going back to them at a later date to add markings,
pennant numbers, flags etc.
ESU: Rifle Green with white markings (although I plan to change these to
yellow markings and I'm going to add nationality markings with the aid of some
tiny
rub-down stars).
FSE: Only have a couple, currently unpainted, I envisaged them in French Blue.
NAC : Medium Grey with white markings. Plans are to add red / white /
blue markings, maybe even some tiny NAC symbols.
NSL:: Don't have any yet, I saw them in either Panzer Grey or a WWII
Kriegsmarine dazzle camo' scheme (which means that they'll be Panzer Grey and
the camo' scheme will never get done...)
Kra'Vak: Brick Red with black railguns and markings and brass 'engines' (the
domed bits at the back).
Sa'Vasku : Black, white / pale grey highlights (_very_ light
drybrushing) - ie,
Not Shadows
PAU: Yellow and black striped camo', red and green markings to come.
Let me add another...
SemFed / NI : Light Blue with white markings
NI Fleet paint scheme:
- General: Dark blue, light blue highlights, white markings (symbols
and letters), some gold or silver metal panels
- Capitals (Larger than BC) and carriers are designated by color rather
than letter. The three CV's are Blue, Red, and Green.
- Other color variations exist, possibly marking subclasses (Green
frigate, yellow corvette, red light carrier). Occasional ships have stylized
patterning to mark some distinguishing accomplishment or milestone.
- Fighters vary in color and design by squadron.
Painting method: 1) Spray black primer (Armory brand) 2) Drybrush dark blue
(It's flat navy or sea blue or something) My color paints are all Testors. 3)
Drybrush (very dry, very light) sky blue for highlighting 4) Letters, panels,
lights, guns, engines to taste (I gofor white,
silver/gold, yellow-white, metal or black, and red respectively
5) Clearcoat matte spray finish. (Forgot the brand)
You can see the scheme and its variations on the NI homepage.
Look for the Fleet link and the Gallery link.

Beth
> IF - white with green details/wings
Correction: green (00FF00 or "lime green") wash followed by heavily
drybrushing black, plus detailing. Saieed Khalifate would be white and green.
Alarish usually uses dazzle patterns of white, red, and gold, outlined in
black. Recon ships are generally rather less flashy, using deep grey and very
dark red.
I've got pictures of some of mine at:
http://www.voicenet.com/~johncrim/CammoS.html
(At least for the moment; my page needs some serious revision, and this page
will probably be gone within the month)
And the actual paints that I used are:
> FSE
> NAC:
Base of black, drybrushed dark grey, with the dazzle pattern painted medium
grey and drybrushed with a slightly paler grey.
> NSL
> Sa'Vasku
