If you're the fiftieth person to ask this question then Jon may have a
surprise for you ;-)

Something roughly along the lines of "Fleet Book 2 is not out yet. The 50th
person to ask will receive a free smack in the gob".

I saw it on the GZG stand at Bifrost last month (where I also had a
very fun game of the FMA-lite demo rules).

I really can understand this kind of frustration as I work on projects with
silly deadlines, usually caused by announcing unfeasible ship dates (SALUTE
99)

I'm pleased to say that at least most of our customers took this is the
spirit it was meant... ;-)
Mind you, it didn't stop some people asking anyway.....
> I really can understand this kind of frustration as I work on projects

No ship date is unfeasible WHEN ANNOUNCED - the problem is that between
that announcement and the promised date, other things have a tendency to
happen..... :-/
That's why I'm not promising a date for it at the moment, but rest assured it
will be out just as soon as circumstances permit! (No, it WON'T be this side
of Xmas I'm afraid).

So you're shipping on Christmas Day itself! Neat! I'll have it before New
Years! Wonderful!

.....Right?.....

I'm not sure what an Email smack in the gob feels like, but..

Obi-Wan GZG. IS there any chance of a preview ? I feel the troops are
getting restless, and though the casting of new miniatures amongst the
faithful has eased the tension, it has been a year since I dared to ask. Even
an update on the contents would be something...;)

Let's see..." smack in the gob"...I presume that's "a kiss on the mouth" which
I further presume means you had a "booth bimbo" for your vendor table? Jon,
I'd expected better of you (and I'd expect she'd have to have been a pretty
desperate bimbo, if your conventioneers are like the ones I've seen).

G'day,

Now you're asking for a smack in the gob!;)

After spending quite sometime while I was away explaining the meaning of such
phrases as "stick out like a sore thumb" and "flat out like a lizard drinking"
I'm beginning to think the world needs an online idiom guide
;)

> which I further presume means you had a "booth bimbo" for your

Now that's a jump, you presume he wouldn't be,ummm, taking the "pleasure" of
doing it for himself....

Which'd be why he's not doing it for himself;)

Damn straight!

Winston Churchill's line about "England and America - two nations
seperated by a common language." comes to mind...

It's even worse when you have Aussies in the equation!

Glad you're back, Beth. Great game in Vancouver - good to meet a couple
of
listees face-to-face!

And our combined trashing of Paul in SG2 was a bonus - great minis &
vehicles, too.
