I recently let the folks at the OGRE-Miniatures mailing list know about
http://www.warpfish.com/gzgecc/gzgecc8/AAR/gallery/Hudak/index.html

This was the reaction:

I'm reasonably sure that this was done by Joel Frock, and that he has set up
separate items, eg you could buy missile pods or an extra primary or some
extra secondaries or whatever. He had some for sale at ECC.

It was, and I tried to send him email to see what, if anything, should be said
about availability to the OGRE Minis group, but the address I have for him
bounced.

Just send me an email off-list and I'll send his address your way.

Just so I understand, the O.G.R.E. were 15mm, right? SJG's were 25mm, right?

Not that I'm not interested in getting in line...

The original OGRE minis from Martian Metals, and the follow-ups done by
Ral Partha were 6mm. There were a handful of "Macrotures" in 25mm.

As far as I know, Joels Mk III is the only 15mm OGRE mini.

Well, we WERE talking about Joel's, but were there any other Macro's released
besides the GEV? I saw mockups of tanks at an Origins, but thought they never
were for sale.

Sorry, my mistake. I lost context somewhere. As far as I've ever seen,

only the GEV was made available.

I hate to rain on the OGRE parade, but do SJ Games know this 15mm beast
exists? They do have copyright lawyers, y'know, and although they have a rep
as a pretty cool company even cool companies get antsy about their
'image' being used for sales w/o authorization.

Other than that, very cool model from the pics Jerry posted! Doing BIG
models is a lot of fun; biggest I've done is a pair of roughly-12" long
shuttlecraft, for either 15mm or 25mm, depending on who's standing next to
them... must take pics for the site...
