What's the latest official word on FMAS? I'm sure if there was an ETA or any
other good news, it would have been announced, but, hey, since
I haven't bugged you guys for, what, 3-4 years now...? ;-)

No word on an ETA. There's still a lot that has to be fleshed out in FMAS.
We've been waiting for Jon's latest version of the playtest rules for several
months now, but Jon is wasting his time making and selling miniatures. I mean,
does he _really_ need to pay for food and shelter? *L*

Seriously, there is still a _lot_ of work to do. Don't expect it any
time
soon...

Is there a version available for public consumption?

Not really, at the moment; what the test list is using is too messy and
fragmented to be allowed outside the confines of that small and twisted group
of individuals. Most of the elements are in place, I just need some FREE TIME
(I think I had some once, a long time ago, but the wheels fell off....) to
pull it all together into something that resembles where I was planning to go
with it in the first place......

There are some old versions in public circulation, but they are quite a long
way removed from what we're doing at the moment.

When and if I DO get the time to do it, I may release a "lite" version to the
full list for reactions, but expect that when you see it!

Aww :-(

Well quite!

Yeah, those were the days...

Well this is as I thought, but it can't help to ask. Well I have been looking
forward to it for some time now... and I still am, there are various bits of
scenery at the Durham Wargames Group I wish to play with (Troy is first on my
list).

Thanks for letting me down gently
